From the ruins of an ancient fortress, a new multimedia museum emerges.
Following extensive restoration work that began in 2019, the castle opened its doors to the public on 25 June 2025.
We meet in Cannobio at 09.45 h, embark on a motorboat to the Cannero Castles.
The self-guided tour lasts about 50 minutes after which the motorboat brings us back to Cannobio.
In Cannobio we walk about 15 minutes to the Restaurant Antica Stallera for lunch.
After lunch, everyone is free to make their own arrangements before heading home.
IMPORTANT:
If you are travelling by car, please let us know how many seats you have available for passengers without their own transport.
The cost is CHF 55.00 per person including motorboat, admission to the castles and lunch. It does not include personal expenses or drinks.
